MT. Pinagbanderahan
This is the first mountain I climbed that the whole walk way was cemented till the top. Unlike my other mountain adventures where I felt I was one with nature, with this one I felt like I was going back in time as I was walking through the same pathway the Americans and Japanese used for their cavalry detachment. As I was walking through the leaves along the concrete trail, the concrete barriers really resembled the walls near my school in Intramuros. This hike is very family friendly because it takes about 1-4 hours for the total hike. The mountain is about 1200 feet above sea level. Overall the hike was a wonderful experience because it wasn't so time consuming, the trees provided shade from the sun, it wasn't slippery and the view is worth the climb
